Summer and Post-Graduate Funding
Georgetown provides substantial support to students and alumni pursuing non-profit and government legal opportunities through a variety of different programs. Explore how our summer funding programs and post-graduate funding and debt-relief programs can help you launch your legal career.
Georgetown Summer Funding Programs:
Georgetown offers guaranteed summer funding for students engaged in public service summer activities in the form of Public Service Summer Grants of $3250 (for 1L, 1E/J, 2E/J students) or $5500 (for 2L, 3E/J students). In addition, EJF Summer Augmenting Awards of $500 can be used to supplement either the Grant. PSJD also offers additional funding resources to explore.
Loan Repayment Assistance Programs:
Georgetown’s Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP) assists J.D. graduates in pursuing public interest careers. Graduates who qualify for LRAP benefits receive assistance with monthly student loan payments in the form of interest-free loans from Georgetown Law.
