1L Firm Receptions

The Office of Career Strategy hosts firm receptions during the spring semester to provide attorneys from across the US the opportunity to get to know our first year students before they leave for the summer.  The 2019 1L Firm Receptions will be held in the Sports and Fitness Lobby on:

Mock Interview Program

The Mock Interview Program assists students with developing and practicing their interviewing skills. This opportunity is invaluable for students who may be nervous about the interview process or have concerns about their interview skills or credentials. Alumni and volunteer attorneys in a variety of geographic locations interview students and provide them with critical feed back on their interview performance. The mock interviews occur at your firm at the convenience of the volunteer attorney.

Spotlight on Government Information Fair

Student interest in government opportunities is at an all-time high. Spotlight provides a forum for government employers and Georgetown Law students to engage in invaluable informational exchange about hiring programs and general information about a range of federal, state and local government agencies. World of Choices

World of Choices is a meet and greet program held in the fall semester.  Attorneys from a variety of employers representing over 20 practice areas are invited to network with our first-year students to discuss their career and their specific practice area.  The 2018 World of Choices event will be held sometime in late October/early November.  More information to come.  Those interested in participating please contact Amy Jones Mattock.
