The Office of Special Events at Georgetown Law works with Law Center administration, faculty, alumni, staff and members of the public to develop, plan, and execute several hundred events each year. The team provides an array of services including client consultation, vendor contract management, event conceptualization, detailed planning, logistics, and on-site management.

Georgetown Law does things right — including a record-breaking Reunion Weekend 2019 with more than 2000 alumni, faculty, staff, and guests attending from around the world. Among the highlights during the three days of festivities October 18 to 20 was the annual Reunion Gala at the National Building Museum, where five alumni were honored for their contributions to the community and to Georgetown Law.
In an academic lecture on events surrounding the 1787 drafting of the U.S. Constitution, Georgetown Law Dean William M. Treanor showed the Law Center community how much he enjoys scholarship and teaching — in addition to serving as the school’s 16th dean.
