As we approach the end of another academic year, we would like to update you on the year’s events. The most significant accomplishment of the year was the replacement of our library platform with one that is integrated with the holdings of other local area libraries. This gives our users faster and more convenient access to materials in our region without ever requiring them to leave our campus. In addition to feeding minds through our new library platform, we have also installed a working garden to feed the community’s bodies. On a sadder note, the library and the entire law school bid goodbye to Professor Norman Birnbaum and third-year student Cedric Asiavugwa, both beloved members of the community who will be greatly missed.

This newsletter also provides some insight on external activities affecting the library, including Public Domain Day and the controlled digital lending movement.

We thank you for your continued support and hope that you have a chance to drop by the library in the year to come!
