New Library Catalog Introduced in August, 2018

Over the summer the library performed a huge system upgrade.  In partnership with the Washington Research Library Consortium (WRLC) we migrated to a cloud-based library services platform to help us acquire, manage, and provide access to our collection.

This included a makeover of our online catalog.  The new, streamlined search interface provides one-stop searching for books, databases, and more.  It also simplifies the process of requesting books from our partner libraries in the WRLC and placing interlibrary loan requests.  In addition, the new unified search interface includes a massive index of articles available through our database subscriptions.

It took a year of hard work to get this new system up-and-running.  Post-launch cleanup is ongoing, and we look forward to checking in with our patrons, fine-tuning, and finding new ways to take advantage of our powerful new tools.
