News & Reports for March 2018
HeinOnline Faculty Profiles
The HeinOnline database has recently created Author Profile Pages for any scholar who has published in a legal journal available in their Law Journal Library. These pages compile all of an author’s works in one place and also provides some basic metrics so authors can see how often their works have been cited in a case or in other law journal articles. You can also see if your articles have been accessed in the past 12 months.
The library has worked with HeinOnline to ensure that our faculty pages include each faculty member’s Georgetown email address, as well as a link to your Georgetown Law faculty profile page. If you would like to add additional information to your profile page, you can click on the Edit Author Profile link next to your name and provide that info to HeinOnline.
For more information about the Author Profile Pages, check out HeinOnline’s recent blog post. You can also contact Margaret Krause, Special Projects Librarian at mmaher01@georgetown.edu.
EzProxy
The library is changing the way it authorizes users when they are off campus. If you are having difficulty getting to a page you know you have access to while in your office, add the following prefix before any link. http://proxygt-law.wrlc.org/login?url=
So this link:
https://www.law.com/americanlawyer/2018/03/16/where-the-girls-are/?kw=The%20Careerist:%20Women%20Dominate%20Some%20of%20Worst%20Ranked%20Law%20Schools&et=editorial&bu=The%20American%20Lawyer&cn=20180316&src=EMC-Email&pt=Afternoon%20Update
is made available off-campus by changing it to this:

BNA Health and Pharmaceutical Changes

Faculty Blog Aggregator
The library has maintained the faculty blog aggregator for some years now. With the transition to a new website, Michelle Wu would like to know if any faculty members use this service or if we should shut it down rather than re-coding a new one. Please contact Jill Smith if you use this feature.
Faculty Scholarship Report
If you would like materials added to the Faculty Scholarship Report, please send them to LibFacPubs@law.georgetown.edu.
