Kate is a Tax Director with PwC, LLP’s Washington National Tax Services, focusing on Federal income tax accounting methods. Prior to joining PwC, Kate was the in-house accounting methods leaderfor General Electric Company. Kate has advised both large and midsize companies on various accounting method issues, including revenue recognition, expense recognition, depreciation/amortization, and leasing. Kate is currently vice chair of the Tax Accounting Committee of the American Bar Association’s Tax Section and is a former member
of the AICPA Tax Methods and Periods’ Technical Resource Panel. Kate holds a J.D. from Pace University Law School and an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown Law Center.
