Jennifer Couch
Jennifer was awarded two scholarships to pursue her law degree at Georgetown, the Opportunity Scholarship and the Rise Scholarship. Jennifer became interested in law as an undergrad, where she was a part of Skadden, Arps Honors Program.
Before attending Georgetown, Jennifer worked as an immigration paralegal to help foreign artists receive extraordinary ability visas. Now in her first year at Georgetown, she will be working with Judith Perez-Caro at the Office of Equity and Inclusion.
Jennifer is interested in pursuing work at a large firm after graduating doing Mergers and Acquisitions.
Jennifer is originally from Queens, New York, and has also lived in Manhattan and Brooklyn. In her free time, she likes to bake while listening to rap music, do hot yoga to de-stress, and create skits about peculiar things that happen on the A train.
