Phil Sechler is a partner at Robbins Russell LLP, where he focuses on high-stakes commercial litigation. Before joining Robbins Russell, he was a trial lawyer and partner at Williams & Connolly LLP, where he practiced for more than 22 years. Over three decades in practice, Professor Sechler has handled many “bet the company” cases throughout the country. Benchmark Litigation 2020, a guide to the top litigators in the U.S., recognized him as a Local Litigation Star in his practice area of general commercial litigation. He has argued before the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Second, Third, Fourth, Seventh, Eighth, and D.C. Circuits and numerous state appellate courts. From 2013 through 2016, Professor Sechler was a full-time faculty member at Penn State Law School, where he taught courses in evidence, legal ethics, and trial advocacy.
