Brett is a 2L at Georgetown Law. He grew up in Woodstock, Maryland. In addition to being a Business Law Scholar at Georgetown, Brett is a Staff and Articles Steering Committee Member of the American Criminal Law Review, an Institute of International Economic Law Fellow, and Captain of the Georgetown Law Softball Team. During his 1L summer, he worked as a Judicial Intern for Judge Paul W. Grimm on the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Next summer, he is joining the Washington, DC office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher as a Summer Associate.

Prior to law school, he spent three years as a Consultant at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause in their Risk and Internal Audit Practice. Brett enjoys the close companionship of his softball teammates, Chipotle, and watching “The Good Place.”
