Rachel Jorgensen is a Reference Librarian at the Williams Law Library. Before coming to Georgetown, Professor Jorgensen was an academic reference librarian and professor, specializing in information literacy.

Professor Jorgensen earned her MSLS at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her JD from the David A. Clarke School of Law. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in American Studies and Art History.

Professor Jorgensen is active in the Law Librarians’ Society of Washington, D.C. and in the American Association of Law Libraries. Professor Jorgensen’s research interests include the history of academic libraries and the early history of women in law librarianship.
