B.A., LL.B., University of Florida. Prior to his retirement in 2007, Professor Datz was Chief Counsel to successive Chairmen of the National Labor Relations Board. Professor Datz is the author of all NLRB Advice Memoranda issued from 1975-1990. He is co-editor of supplements to The Developing Labor Law, Second Edition, and to International Labor & Employment Laws. A member of the Governing Council of the ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law, Professor Datz is a frequent speaker and lecturer before bar associations and labor law seminars. He is also past president of the National College of Labor & Employment Lawyers. He is the recipient of the ABA Federal Labor and Employment Lawyer award. Professor Datz is an adjunct professor at American University Law School and George Washington Law School. He has also taught as an adjunct professor at Howard University Law School.
