Previously, he was a Partner at Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P., where he concentrated on federal income tax planning for complex business transactions involving corporations, partnerships and real estate investment trusts. As Shareholder at Jenkens & Gilchrist, he served as Tax section practice group leader. Mr. Bowers was also a Lieutenant. JAGC in the U.S. Navy and Assistant Staff Judge Advocate for the U.S. Naval Academy.
