Soohee Choi is visiting from South Korea where she is a lawyer with Jieum Law Office. Her research focuses on US and EU approach to competition laws and how SMEs fit in those laws. Her visit continues through August 31, 2020.

Che-Chun Chu is visiting from Taiwan where he is a prosecutor, Taoyuan District Prosecutors Office.  The focus of his research is international cooperation in cyber crime and US cyber crime regulations.  His visit continues through June 30, 2020.

Juan Pablo Falcon is visiting from Argentina where he is principal law clerk, Administrative and Tax Courtys of the City of Buenos Aires. His research focuses on the impact of the internet on the theory of deliberative democracy. His visit continues through June 1, 2020.

Gregory Gordon is visiting from Hong Kong, where he is Professor of Law at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on the work of the last surviving Nuremberg prosecutor, Benjamin Ferencz and its applicability in the transnational penal context. His visit continues through August 31, 2020.

Dongsuk Han is visiting from South Korea where he is Judge, Yeongwol Branch Court of Chuncheon District Court. His research focuses on legal issues related to the use of artificial intelligence technology in the medical field. His visit continues through August 9, 2020.

Won Jang is visiting from South Korea where he is Associate, Kim & Chang. His research focuses on regulations relating to resale price maintenance, especially in online markets. His visit continues through July 14, 2020.

Wanejune Ju is visiting from South Korea where he is court official, Daejeon District Court. His research focuses on the deposit system involving creditors and debtors in the U.S. as compared to that of South Korea. His visit continues through July 21, 2020.

Soomin Kang is visiting from South Korea where she is a PhD candidate at Seoul National University. Her research focuses on whether the investigation process of the Korea Fair Trade Commission meets global standards. Her visit continues through December 31, 2020.

Tub Ayse Akcura Karaman is visiting from Turkey where she is Associate Professor, Faculty of Law, Galatasaray University. Her research focuses on determining the significance of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) on US international commerce. Her visit continues through August 23, 2020.

Seungun Kim is visiting from South Korea where he is Associate, Kim & Chang. His research involves an in-depth study of U.S. regulations related to publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trusts. His visit continues through August 14, 2020.

Gyuwon Lee is visiting from South Korea where he is Public Prosecutor of Seoul Eastern District Prosecutor’s Office.  His research focuses on economic cooperation of South and North Korea, and Reasonable Operation Plans of Export Control Regime of the US.  His visit continues through July 31, 2020.

Jaehong Lee is visiting from South Korea where he is attorney, Kim & Chang. His research focuses on international tax issues arising from the digitization of the global economy. His visit continues through June 30, 2020.

Esperanza Pastor Nunez de Castro is visiting from Spain where she is a PhD candidate at the Universidad de Murcia and a consultant-analyst at the World Bank. Her research focuses on a comparative analysis of crowdfunding regulations in the United States and Spain. Her visit continues through May 4, 2020.

Rebeka Reven is visiting from Slovenia where she is a PhD candidate at the University of Ljubljana. Her research focuses on the law and economics of enforcement procedure. Her visit continues through May 31, 2020.

Juliane Taborda is visiting from Brazil where she is a federal public defender. Her research focuses on Brazil’s prison system and the 2015 ADPF lawsuit that aimed to challenge the system. Her visit continues through March 31, 2020.

Schoenbaum, Thomas is visiting from Washington State where he is Shefelman Professor of Law from the University of Washington (Seattle) School of Law.  He is focusing on China-US trade conflicts and the new US-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement.  His visit continues through April 30, 2020.

Nona Shimazaki is visiting from Japan where she is Judge, Nagoya District and Family Court.  The focus of her research is to conduct a comparative study of the legal systems of Japan and the U.S. in general.  Her visit continues through June 30, 2020.

Patrick Wasilczyk is visiting from Germany where he is a PhD candidate at the University of Münster. His research focuses on the fragmentation of international economic law. His visit continues through March 15, 2020.

Mayuko Yoko is visiting from Japan where she is a prosecutor, Otsu Public Prosecutors Office. Her research focuses on investigation methods against large-scale cybercrime in the US. Her visit continues through August 15, 2020.

Jianyu Zhang is visiting from China where he is a PhD candidate at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. His research focuses on international commercial dispute resolution. His visit continues through March 31, 2020.

Jianxu Zhao is visiting from China where he is a PhD candidate at Zhejiang University. His research focuses on the relationship between individual autonomy and the rule of law. His visit continues through September, 2020.

Jing Zhou is visiting from China where she is associate researcher, Research Center of National Radio and Television Administration. The focus of her research is a comparative study of audiovisual media policy and legislation. Her visit continues through September 10, 2020.

Wim Zimmermann is visiting from the Netherlands where he is a PhD researcher at the University of Amsterdam. His research focuses on the reputation management practices of international organizations, using the World Bank as a case study. His visit continues through March 31, 2020.
